9 days and counting
So, we have nine days until baby #3 arrives. It seems as though this pregnancy has been incomparable to the other two. With the girls, there were not nearly as many emotions! Don't know if it's the testosterone running through me or what, but my husband is a trooper...He really knows this too shall pass!Child Insight: Mia asked Lynn and I today to be quiet. When we were completely silent, she said that she wanted to hear Jesus. She said He told her that the boy would be born tomorrow. What a picture of true child-like faith and incredible insight to be still! Hope I can remember that one for a long time!
So, that's us: waiting for the boy, spending time with the girls, and getting adjusted to fall schedules. It's so nice for the girls to be in some sort of regular routine now. And for me, too. MOPS starts in a couple weeks...this time working with the publicity factor. Should be fun this year, as it's a brand new ministry at our church. Hope to reach some moms for Jesus, and to make a few good friends too. It's been an adjustment living here to say the least. Things are starting to feel a bit more real here--hey it's only taken almost two years! I guess I'm slow to adjust.
Things on the Youth Horizon are going well...Craig and I hope to go to a youth conference in Ohio in February. There is a track of courses to take for Youth Ministry Spouses. Looking forward to gaining some insight there! Not to mention some time with Craig, learning and laughing is always memorable.
